Maybe I'm feeling jaded, but I remember summers as a kid where no one was in camp, people were around all summer, and there was time to play at the pool and hang out. Nowadays everyone's off on multi-week vacations, sticking their kids in camps for weeks on end... no time to just chill out and have a beer with a friend on the porch while the burgers are grilling.
