When you do speed work you should be able to talk when you are doing your Fartlecks, but you definitely have time between to chat. I think running in groups is all about the chit-chat. More importantly, the time goes by so much quicker when you are lost in a conversation. I often forget that I&#039;m running when I&#039;m with my friends catching up on the last week of events.</description>
